An Easter Bible Club was held in the Wark Hall, Belleek on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. The Club was organised and led by Mrs. Wendy Houston, and she was helped by Joy Graham, Florence Earls, Doreen Earls, Abigail Ovens, Lee Walker, and Rebecca Graham. The children who attended enjoyed games, singing and the Easter Story of Jesus’ suffering on the cross, for our sins, followed by the wonder of his resurrection from the dead. They enjoyed craft work, and went home on the last day with a little Easter basket which contained an Easter cupcake.
The Parishes are indebted to Wendy for all the effort she made in travelling and for the preparation and delivery of her work in the Club. All who attended thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship and spiritual nourishment.
