Harvest Thanksgiving in Slavin
Slavin Parish held their Harvest Thanksgiving on Friday 21st September. The Church was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The preacher was Mr Karl Saunders. He welcomed everyone and also the visitors who joined us for the evening, especially those from Belfast and Limerick. The Choir from the four churches sang two pieces, ‘A Call to Harvest’ and ‘Jesus is the Joy of Living’. They were accompanied by Joy Graham. The organist for the hymn singing was Ethne Earls. Supper was served afterwards.
The preacher on Sunday 23rd was Rev. Isobel Nixon.
