The Macmillan Cancer Support Friends wish to thank most sincerely everyone for their generous support at the annual coffee day in the Wark Hall, Belleek, Co. Fermanagh on Friday 26th September 2008.

People are so generous when it comes to fundraising for cancer. We get a lot of support of all kinds - whether making tea or maning a stall. So our day is more of a social get-together. Cancer is sadly common in Belleek and the sorrounding area. The support team have just taken part in the Worlds Biggest Coffee Day for the 6th year in succession. People are made most welcome with a cup of tea/coffee whatever the choice and some nice scones/traybakes free in exchange for a donation. Home produce is also on sale e.g. cakes, jams, scones also bric -a-brac, flowers , shrubs etc.
The 4 organizers: Lena Carty, Bernadette Duffy, Florence Earls and Wilma Watson. This is the main working support team who decided to do fundraising for cancer as we have all been victims of breast cancer.
